The Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District approved a funding agreement with the City of Hemet involving a drainage line in West Hemet.The Riverside County Board of Supervisors members are also the board members of the Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District. The county supervisors voted 5-0 on July 28 to approve the agreement for Stage 4 of Line C of the West Hemet Master Drainage Plan.The construction of Stage 4 of Line C of the West Hemet Master Drainage Plan will involve 2,600 lineal feet of rectangular channel six feet high by four feet wide along Menlo Avenue between Sanderson Avenue and Kirby Street.
