The CIF policy prohibiting competition or practices in excessive heat limited Great Oak High School to one girls tennis match during August while also limiting Wolfpack practices, but the match was a victory.Great Oak hosted the August 18 match against Linfield Christian and won by a 15-3 margin. “It was a good starting match,” said Great Oak coach Ray Fisher.The 16 players on the 2026 Great Oak varsity include seven seniors.
