Supervisors renew Temecula Wine Country Tourism Marketing District

The Riverside County Board of Supervisors renewed the Temecula Wine Country Tourism Marketing District.A 5-0 vote following an August 25 public hearing renewed the marketing district. The extension is through December 31, 2031, although subsequent Board of Supervisors approval can allow for additional renewals.“This, I think, is a model of success,” said Supervisor Chuck Washington.In November 2015 Visit Temecula Valley requested the formation of the Temecula Wine Country Tourism Marketing District. The district includes a benefit assessment which helps fund marketing and sales promotion activities for Temecula Wine Country lodging businesses.
