Firefighters extinguished a vehicle fire Saturday evening near Diamond Valley Market on Sage Road, according to fire officials.
CAL FIRE responded at about 7:22 p.m. Sept. 5 to the 32100 block of Sage Road, where a Chevrolet Colorado was fully involved in flames when firefighters arrived.
The driver safely escaped the vehicle and told firefighters the fire started in the engine compartment. The driver also quickly removed several fuel cans from the truck bed before firefighters extinguished the blaze.
CAL FIRE requested assistance from the California Highway Patrol and a tow truck following the fire.
No injuries were reported.
