Special to the Valley NewsA driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after his vehicle struck a transformer box early Sunday near Soboba Road and Lake Park Drive.Soboba Fire crews responded about 2:40 a.m. Sept. 13 and found the vehicle against the box. The driver was uninjured. He told Riverside County sheriff’s deputies he had fallen asleep while driving back from Los Angeles, the account said.After a field sobriety test, the driver recorded a 0.112 on a breath test and was arrested, according to the account. Southern California Edison was requested because exposed power lines were reportedly live. The driver’s name was not provided.
