
The latest phase for the City of Wildomar’s future 20-acre park by Gierson Avenue and Palomar Street is the purchase of a prefabricated vehicle bridge.A 5-0 Wildomar City Council vote on September 9 authorized a $299,000 contract with R.E. Schultz Construction, Inc., for the design, engineering, manufacturing, delivery, offloading, and assembly of a Bow String Truss prefabricated vehicle bridge which will connect the future Palomar Street parking area to the park property and trails. The action also authorized the public works director or city engineer to approve change orders of cumulatively up to 15 percent of the authorized contract amount.The city purchased the 20-acre park property northeast of Palomar Street and southwest of Gierson Avenue and the adjacent 0.49-acre parking
