With handmade cards in hand and cookies baked with care, residents of Vineyard Place, an Anthem Memory Care community, recently visited the Murrieta Fire Department to share a heartfelt thank-you with local first responders.
The visit gave residents an opportunity to express their appreciation for the firefighters’ dedication, courage and service to the Murrieta community. Residents presented cookies and handmade thank-you cards as a small but meaningful gesture of gratitude.
The outing reflected Vineyard Place’s focus on connection, kindness and purposeful engagement, giving residents a chance to give back while strengthening bonds with the people who help keep the community safe.
“We look for opportunities that help residents stay connected to the community in purposeful ways,” said Christopher Balmes, life engagement director for Vineyard Place. “Thanking our local firefighters gave them a chance to show gratitude to those who protect Murrieta.”
