Firefighters responded to a vegetation fire reported at 4:20 p.m. Friday near 2156 Santa Margarita Drive, Building 997G5, in the De Luz area. They were able to hold the fire to about an acre.
Brush units B111 and BR112 and engines E111, E115, E3351, and E3371 were reported at the scene. A CAL FIRE dozer tender, TD3341, was en route. Several other crews had also been dispatched.
The fire’s size and containment were not immediately available.
