The Riverside County Board of Supervisors extended the county's lease for the behavioral health clinic in Hemet.A 5-0 vote October 6 approved the county’s option to extend the lease. The new lease term will begin February 1, 2027, and end on January 31, 2030.The county operates the behavioral health clinic as part of the Riverside University Health System. The 14,440 square feet facility in the 600 block of North State Street includes group rooms, offices, clerical areas, exam rooms, a copy room, storage areas, a medication room, a break room, and space for staff and clients. The county has leased the facility since April 1999.
