City of Murrieta and Murrieta Valley Unified School District Partner to “Stuff the Bus” with Holiday Gifts for Local Children

Community members encouraged to donate gifts by November 4 to support Murrieta families in need this holiday season

Murrieta – The City of Murrieta and Murrieta Valley Unified School District (MVUSD) are teaming up this holiday season for a “Stuff the Bus” toy drive, inviting the community to help bring holiday cheer to local children and families in need.

Through November 4, residents, businesses, and community organizations are encouraged to donate new, unwrapped gifts or gift cards for children ages 0–17 at participating locations throughout Murrieta. Gifts for teenagers are especially appreciated.

On November 5, MVUSD will collect donations from participating locations and deliver them to the local Salvation Army, which will distribute the gifts to families in need throughout Murrieta.

Donation drop-off locations include:

  • Murrieta City Hall
  • Lisa J. Mails Middle School
  • Loma Linda University Medical Center – Murrieta
  • Murrieta Mesa High School
  • Murrieta Valley High School
  • Shivela Middle School
  • Thompson Middle School

  • Warm Springs Middle School

The Stuff the Bus program reflects the community’s commitment to helping neighbors in need and demonstrates the impact of partnerships between local government, schools, businesses, and nonprofit organizations.

The City of Murrieta and MVUSD extend their appreciation to the Salvation Army, Paradise Chevrolet Cadillac, Riverside County Third District Supervisor Chuck Washington, and all participating organizations for their support of this holiday initiative.

Community members are encouraged to drop off donations by Wednesday, November 4, and help fill the bus with gifts that will bring joy to Murrieta children this Christmas.
