The Lake Elsinore City Council approved an amendment to the Transportation Uniform Mitigation Fee agreement for improvements to the interchange at Interstate 15 and State Route 74.A 5-0 vote October 13 approved the reimbursement agreement with the Western Riverside Council of Governments. What is officially an amendment to the original agreement provides funding for the final engineering and construction phases of the project and increases the total reimbursement amount from $7,634,251 to $13,134,251.State Route 74 is an eight-lane road and is designated as an augmented urban arterial with a projected buildout volume of 80,000 daily trips.
