EMWD approves study to replace reclamation facilities aeration diffusers

The Eastern Municipal Water District awarded a contract for the planning study to replace aeration diffusers at four regional water reclamation facilities including the San Jacinto Valley and Temecula Valley facilities.Eastern’s board voted 5-0 Wednesday, Jan. 6, to award AECOM Technical Services Inc. a $295,113 contract for the planning study. The board action appropriated $338,913 to fund $43,800 of district engineering branch labor expenses through the completion of the study phase.The San Jacinto Valley, Temecula Valley, Moreno Valley and Perris Valley regional water reclamation facilities use Parkson Corporation membranes for secondary treatment.
