AGUANGA (CNS) – A person suffering from a medical emergency was
rescued from an inaccessible area in Aguanga Saturday, July 1.

Firefighters from the Riverside County Fire Department responded to
the Dripping Springs Campground at 39755 state Route 79 around 3:45 p.m.
Saturday to a report of a person with a medical emergency on the Wild Horse
Trail.

Firefighters hiked approximately three miles to get to the patient,
according to the fire department.

Riverside County Sheriff’s Department helicopter Rescue 9 assisted
with the rescue and hoisted the patient who was then taken to a hospital by
