The Eastern Municipal Water District awarded a contract for the design to rehabilitate three lift stations.A 5-0 EMWD board vote on November 5 approved a $109,100 contract with Krieger & Stewart Engineering Consultants for the design of the Stoney Mountain Ranch, Chittamwood, and Obsidian lift station rehabilitation projects. The board approved total appropriations of $363,000 which will also cover $105,000 for internal engineering branch labor costs, $30,000 for the preparation of the final plans and specifications, $30,000 for the cost of the bid and award phase, $30,000 for an environmental consultant who will perform hazardous materials surveys, and a $60,000 contingency.
