The animal services contract between the County of Riverside and the City of San Jacinto has been renewed.A 4-0 Riverside County Board of Supervisors vote December 16, with Jose Medina absent, approved a new three-year agreement. The action also authorizes the director of the county’s Department of Animal Services or her designee to execute amendments to the agreement contingent upon approval by County Counsel.The city first contracted with the county for animal services in 2024. The initial agreement was for a six-month trial period, and an October 2024 Board of Supervisors action extended the agreement to June 30, 2025.
