Supervisors approve search for new DEH office in Hemet area

The County of Riverside will be seeking a new Department of Environmental Health office in the Hemet area.The Riverside County Board of Supervisors voted 5-0 April 14 to authorize the Real Estate division of the county's Facilities Management department to identify suitable space for lease in the greater mid-county area which includes the Interstate 215 corridor and surrounding areas. The Real Estate division was also given the authority to negotiate a lease and prepare the necessary documents for subsequent Board of Supervisors approval.The county’s Department of Environmental Health currently has an office in the 800 block of South Sanderson Avenue in Hemet.
