The Rotary Club of Temecula Sunrise announces its 3rd annual Cycle Through the Vineyards to be held on Sunday, May 3 at Lorimar Winery in Temecula. This charity event benefits the Rotary Club of Temecula Sunrise and Mission Hope as the only scenic tour of the Temecula Valley vineyards.
This year’s event will again offer two guided distances of 13 or 18 miles. Both distances will include at least 3 planned stops at scenic sights for photos. The scenic locations chosen will highlight the natural beauty of Spring in the Temecula Wine Country’s rolling vine-covered hills. Each group of riders will be limited to no more than 30 riders and will leave and return to/from Lorimar Winery. All groups will have a leader and 2 to 3 ride volunteers.
There will also be a planned post-ride program at Lorimar Winery that includes reserved seating for participants with discounts on food and wine. Live music from the Lorimar stage will be provided by the popular The American Patriot Band. There will be raffle drawings held throughout the post-ride program with a grand prize of a new AVENTON E-Bike donated by AVENTON with aftermarket upgrades by The Bicycle Warehouse of Temecula.
This event is planned for 120 participants who, in the past, have come primarily from Southern California but also from as far away as Canada. The reviews have been overwhelmingly positive. To sign up, visit www.bikesignup.com/cyclethroughthevineyards.
