Tortuga wins SoCal Pro Wrestling’s Golden State title, Billy Clutch wins battle royale

SoCal Pro Wrestling had matches at the San Diego County Fair this year, and the June 19 bouts included Lake Elsinore’s Tortuga winning the Golden State Championship match and Temecula’s Billy Clutch winning the battle royale.Tortuga, who grew up in Corona and has lived in Lake Elsinore since 2008, pinned Fidel Bravo in the state championship bout. “To me I’m very proud of all the hard work I put into chasing this championship,” he said. “I’ve worked really hard over the past eight years.”SoCal Pro Wrestling owner and promoter Jeff Dino and his family moved to Temecula after he founded SoCal Pro Wrestling in April 2007.
