Authorities are searching for a suspect after an early morning shooting left two people with injuries of unknown severity on Saturday.
Deputies responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon in the 100 block of North Brinton Street at 2:34 a.m. Upon arrival, law enforcement located evidence of a shooting at the scene and discovered two individuals needing medical attention.
One person was transported to a local hospital with injuries of unknown severity. Emergency personnel evaluated a second subject at the scene, who was also treated for injuries of unknown severity.
The suspect fled the area before deputies arrived. As of Saturday afternoon, no arrests have been made, and authorities have not released a description of the suspect.
