The future City of Wildomar parks include a 20-acre park by Gierson Avenue and Palomar Street, and Act 1 Construction will be constructing fencing, screening, and gates.The Wildomar City Council voted 5-0 August 11 to award the contract to Act 1 Construction, which is based in Norco. The construction of the 20-acre park will be phased, and the $322,764 contract awarded to Act 1 Construction is for the base bid of Phase O-A.The city purchased the 20-acre park property northeast of Palomar Street and southwest of Gierson Avenue and the adjacent 0.49-acre parking lot parcel in 2023. The city currently performs routine maintenance of the property to maintain the site in a safe condition.
