EVMWD awards design contract to relocate well flush-to-waste lines

The Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District awarded Albert A. Webb Associates the design contract to relocate flush-to-waste lines of two EVMWD wells.A 5-0 EVMWD board vote August 13 approved a $514,854 contract with Albert A. Webb Associates, whose office is in Riverside, for engineering design and environmental services associated with relocating the Cereal Well No. 1 and Corydon Well flush-to-waste lines. The action authorized total expenditures of $589,287 which will also cover $71,859 for staff time and $2,574 for overhead.The district operates and maintains 17 groundwater wells which collectively produce about 8,400 acre-feet of supply per year.
