Popular local artist Sacha Hope is coming out of a self-proclaimed hibernation and back to the easel for a special painting party at Emerald Creek Winery on Saturday, Sept. 26.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will offer participants an opportunity to enjoy a plein air painting experience surrounded by the scenic vineyards and Palomar Mountain foothills.
Guests will paint in the shade on the winery grounds or can move inside to enjoy the air conditioning if needed. Emerald Creek Winery’s more than 65 acres of grapevines, rural vistas and mountain views will provide plenty of inspiration.
“We’ll paint on the veranda overlooking the vineyards,” said Hope. “I don’t think you can ask for a more picturesque location to paint.”
The class is open to art
ists of all skill levels, from beginners to professionals. All art supplies are included in the $45 registration fee. Wine will be available for purchase separately.
“I like to think my paint parties are a little bit of a lesson, a little bit of fun and a whole bunch of creativity,” Hope said.
With instruction, camaraderie and a beautiful setting, the event offers participants a chance to spend a Saturday creating art while enjoying the atmosphere of the winery.
Participants must book and pay by Sept. 16 via Venmo at @Sacha-Hope
