Nature, people and creativity came together Saturday, Aug. 29, as Dorland Mountain Arts hosted Birds, Brushes & Brunch, a morning that combined appreciation for birds, art and fellowship.Participants began the day with a short conversation led by Southern California Bluebird Club representative Tracy Ngo. She described Western Bluebirds, their habits, needs as a species and how attendees could encourage the birds to nest locally.
