Through rain and wind, Redshank Riders rise to the Challenge

Despite dark skies, rain and windy conditions, the Redshank Riders, a unit of Backcountry Horsemen of California, hosted an Obstacle Challenge Sunday, Sept. 6, at the Stumblin L Ranch in Anza. The popular event was well-attended as equestrians and their faithful mounts navigated various obstacles to demonstrate trust and discipline at its finest.The event tested partnership between horse and rider as teams navigated natural obstacles, with an emphasis on challenge rather than speed.The official placings from the Obstacle Challenge are as follows:In Hand Division:Laurie Stanton with Chuck Tabatha Nuner with Nashville Christian Robertson with Ruby Tabatha Nuner with Tiernan
