A fatal traffic collision involving a FedEx truck and a motorcycle occurred Wednesday afternoon near the intersection of Bella Vista Road and Glen Oaks Road.
The California Highway Patrol received the initial report of the crash at 1:38 p.m.. The incident has been officially classified by the CHP as a fatality. Details regarding the exact number of individuals involved remain limited, and any other potential occupants were evaluated with injuries of unknown severity.
According to CHP dispatch logs, the primary collision involved a FedEx vehicle and a motorcycle. Dispatchers also noted that the rider of the motorcycle was located off the roadway.
At 2:22 p.m., the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office inquired with CHP regarding potential road closures, but no immediate closures were reported. Heavy-duty tow truck services were formally requested to the scene at 2:41 p.m. to aid in clearing the vehicles.
