The Back Country Horsemen of California Redshank Riders Unit hosted an obstacle challenge at the Lions Club of Anza Valley gymkhana field Saturday, May 14.Dozens of equestrians participated in the interesting obstacle course. Hot dogs and hamburgers with all the fixings were available for the participants and guests. A bake sale and raffle were popular perks to the event.Great camaraderie and fun were evident as riders guided their mounts through an obstacle course and were judged on their confidence and ease of dealing with the obstacles.All participants are looking forward to the next event.The Redshank Riders are a unit of the Back Country Horsemen of America, a national 50
