Elderly man missing in Winchester; Search extends into Day 3

WINCHESTER — A 75-year-old elderly man has been reported missing, last seen leaving his home in the 33000 of Sydney Circle in the City of Winchester, around 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9.

Richard Young was seen wearing a black sweatshirt and blue jeans with unidentified shoes (possibly black), and a hat, that also was unidentifiable according to police reports. Young is listed at 5’3, 130 pounds, with blackish-gray hair and brown eyes.

An extensive search with bloodhounds, several deputies, citizens and a
sheriff’s helicopter was conducted over two days but Young has not been found.
