The City of Lake Elsinore, home to a 3,300-acre recreational lake often plagued by huge algae blooms, is taking another huge step forward in revitalizing the freshwater lake with a relatively new solution called a nanobubble treatment created by Moleaer Technology.
The city purchased its first $2 million nanobubble equipment from Moleaer Technology of Los Angeles that include two containers floating on a barge containing nanobubble generators that will treat the lake water. It will be installed close to Elm Beach, one of the lake’s popular spots.
The new nanobubble producers, housed in two soon-to-be connected mobile units, will go into operation early next year and were displayed Friday, Dec. 15 at Launch Pointe Recreation Destination and RV Park at 32040 Riverside Drive in Lake Elsin
