S.A.G.E. Society to host April 9 presentation, ‘Eyes Of Manhattan On 9/11’

HEMET – The S.A.G.E. Society of Hemet is hosting “Eyes of Manhattan on 9/11 – The World Trade Center through the Eyes of a Safety Officer,” in presentation of poignant images of 9/11 from the lens of Hemet firefighter Scott Hudson Tuesday, April 9, at 1:30 p.m. for social time and 2 p.m. for the program.On the morning of the 9/11 terrorist attack, Hudson and his 76-person team from various Riverside County fire departments were called to help within forty-five minutes of the Twin Towers’ collapse.Hudson and his team were dispatched to Manhattan, flying by U.S. Air Force transports to New York that same night on one of the very few aircraft allowed to fly into New York airspace.He served on Ground Zero for 10 days.
