Dear Residents of District 5,With International Women's Day having passed (March 8, 2025), I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the accomplishments women have made in our country.From their courageous fight for women's suffrage to their contributions in science, mathematics, arts, and literature, women have demonstrated resilience, leadership, and innovation. Here in our district a little over half of our residents are women. Each of them play a crucial role in our community, working in a variety of fields like education, business, and public service.
