California Department of Transportation contractors are working on the Ortega Highway from Grand Avenue to Tenaja Truck Trail repairing damages to the highway (SR 74) caused by the destructive Airport Fire.Daytime flagging may occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., dependent on contractor availability. Closures are dependent on contractors receiving proper materials for each job function. They can be changed or canceled at any time.This work is all part of an emergency project to repair damages sustained from the recent Airport Fire.
