Mack earns Eagle Scout rank

TEMECULA – Trevor Mack was awarded the Eagle Scout rank in Boy Scouts of America after completing his final board of review, July 18. Trevor Mack, son of Steve and Karen Mack of Temecula, is a member of Boy Scout Troop 301 where he served as patrol leader. For his Eagle Scout service project, he planned, organized and directed a crew that built and installed four owl boxes at the DeLuz Ecology Center in Fallbrook. The owl boxes serve as habitats for the owls to nest and raise their offspring. He joined Troop 301 in March 2014 and has attended many camps, hikes and backpacking events. He has also assisted with troop service projects that benefited local community organizations. Trevor Mack is the 129th boy to earn Eagle Scout with Troop 301.
