HS Girls’ Golf: Southwestern League action is heating up on the fairways

The Southwestern League ladies of the links have been hard at work so far this season, and with league action now underway, there’s no telling where the ball is going to land. Matchups last week included Vista Murrieta High School versus Murrieta Mesa High School, Temecula Valley High School versus Great Oak High School and Chaparral High School versus Murrieta Valley High School. Vista Murrieta, led by Venecia Zaia, barely escaped a red-hot Murrieta Mesa team, who was being led by sophomore Angela Heo.
