The halfway point is nearing for many of the local high school fall sports programs, which means nonleague action is wrapping up, and league bouts are getting underway. Many of the local programs this week saw some great action in the water, on the fields and on the girls’ volleyball and tennis courts as well. The updated polls show quite a few local teams getting great exposure in their perspective divisions as the seasons get underway.
