MENIFEE – Menifee residents will have plenty of opportunities to learn about emergency preparedness through a series of events the city has planned during Emergency Preparedness Week, Oct. 15-19. Held at the Kay Ceniceros Center, 29995 Evans Road., the events will cover everything from the basics of emergency preparedness to active shooter training.
“We take our role in emergency preparedness and response very seriously,” city manager Armando Villa said. “Our residents look to us to respond to emergency situations and we have to remain prepared for that, but we also want to help them learn what they can do to be prepared for these situations in their own homes.”
The week’s first event, an emergency preparedness session, will be held Tuesday, Oct. 15, from 11:30 a.m. to 1
