Supervisors approve bid process for Mayberry Avenue sidewalks

The Riverside County board of supervisors approved the bid process for the construction of sidewalks along Mayberry Avenue in unincorporated Hemet.The supervisors’ 4-0 vote, Sept. 10, with Supervisor Chuck Washington absent, found the project categorically exempt from California Environmental Quality Act review, approved the plans and specifications for the sidewalk improvements, authorized the advertisement for bids and set an Oct. 2 deadline for receipt of bids.The project will construct approximately 1,250 linear feet of sidewalk on the south side of Mayberry Avenue between Stanford Street and Meridian Street.
