Firefighters battling brush fire in Hemet

HEMET (CNS) - Firefighters have contained 75 percent of a fire in Hemet that has charred more than 19-acres of brush, according to Cal Fire Riverside. The fire which is burning near Warren and Old Mine roads was reported at 7:07 p.m., Cal Fire reports. The department sent 10 engines, four crews, two bulldozers and one water tender to the scene. Hemet fire has also sent three engines to the fight. No injuries have been reported and no structures have been threatened so far.
