Police: Wildomar suspect in molestation case found dead

WILDOMAR — A 71-year-old Wildomar man arrested on Sept. 26 and charged on suspicion of oral copulation of a minor and sexual abuse of a child under 18 years old died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound on Monday, Sept. 30, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department's Media Information Bureau.At 4:31 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30, Sheriff's deputies responded to a residence in the 35000 block of Momat Avenue in Wildomar to the reports of a shooting.The investigation revealed that Charles Yotter, 71, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound and was pronounced at the scene. The location of his death is believed to be his residence. Yotter, who was suspected of engaging in sex acts with a 16-year-old boy was out of custody after posting a $250,000 bond.According to Riverside
