Spooky fun begins in the mountain community of Idyllwild Friday, Oct. 11, with the creaky doors of the Ghost Town Lodge opening with two scary challenging mazes and a stage music performance, all with the proceeds to benefit nonprofit Young Idyllwild Inc. programs.The Ghost Town series in Idyllwild that spans over the four October weekends and ends Nov. 2, with the returning Idyllwild Zombie Run at First Street and North Circle Drive.The Ghost Town Lodge, in the Idyllwild Help Center, 26330 Highway 243, in Idyllwild, begins scheduled activities Oct. 11, from 7-10 p.m. Donations accepted at the door; $15 per person is suggested.The sponsors of the Ghost Town events said, “Face your fears in the Haunted Lodge, each room a different nightmare and filled with so many spirits, fin
