Temecula Rugby Club raises over five thousand dollars for local man battling cancer

The Temecula Mountain Lions Rugby Club hosted a men’s rugby tournament Sept. 21, to benefit local resident Dave Romero, who recently received news of his stage 4 lung cancer diagnosis of a non-smoking lung cancer that has spread to his spinal column. As a father of six, a grandfather of five and a husband of 37 years Romero and his family were devastated when they received the news of his diagnosis, he said.Romero is a close family friend of Mountain Lion team member, Adam Barker.
