GoFundMe account established to help Santa Rosa Plateau to recover

MURRIETA — Ginger Greaves, Executive Director of the Santa Rosa Plateau Foundation Inc. has organized a GoFundMe fundraiser to help the nonprofit organization raise money to make repairs to the reserve that was damaged by the Tenaja Fire in that started on Sept. 4. The fire ravaged 1,926 acres in total and did significant damage to the reserve, causing it to close indefinitely while repair efforts are underway. "The amazing firefighters took a stand to save the Reserve Visitor Center, but lush vegetation, trees and habitats along with the assets associated with property security, maintenance and the youth environmental education programs were lost," Greaves wrote on the fundraising page.
