The spirit of community and celebration will be on full display next month as KOYT 97.1 prepares to host its fifth annual May Day Brunch Fundraiser.Set for Sunday, May 3, from 1 to 4 p.m., this year’s event will unfold in the scenic Aguanga countryside at the Knoppelasen property, hosted by Alex Calapodis and Annika Knöppel. Organizers say the “Opa! Effervescent Brunch” is designed to capture the joy and spontaneity behind the classic Greek expression “Opa!” - an invitation to celebrate life, food and togetherness.Guests can expect a relaxed outdoor afternoon filled with Mediterranean-inspired dishes, sparkling refreshments and live acoustic music.
