Sheriff’s deputies bust illegal marijuana grow in De Luz

DE LUZ — A weeklong investigation culminated in the serving of a search warrant at a property parcel on the 45000 block of Vista Del Mar in De Luz, just west of Temecula on Friday, Oct. 18. Members of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department Southwest Station served the search warrant for the illegal cultivation of marijuana and discovered 400 marijuana plants "in various stages of growth and approximately 100 pounds of finished, processed and packaged marijuana," according to Sergeant Jon Wade. Two people located on the property that were in the process of maintaining the property, plants and packaged marijuana were arrested.
