Man pleads guilty to robbing Norco retailer

RIVERSIDE (CNS) - An ex-con who held up a Norco store and fled with all the cash he could grab pleaded guilty today to robbery.Dwayne Wardell Haw, 38, of Corona, was arrested Oct. 7, the same day as the robbery.During a status hearing Tuesday morning at the Riverside Hall of Justice, Haw's public defender and prosecutors informed Superior Court Judge David Gunn that a plea agreement had been reached. Haw admitted the robbery count in exchange for misdemeanor charges of driving on a revoked license and having contraband in jail being dropped.Gunn scheduled a sentencing hearing for Nov. 21.
