Caltrans to continue work on SR74 medians next week

SAN BERNARDINO – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will continue work on a $20 million safety project to construct a raised curb median with access points and left-turn lanes on State Route 74 (SR-74) at various locations from Acacia Avenue to Interstate 215 next week. The contractor, Granite Construction Company, will continue to excavate and haul dirt. The right shoulder and #2 lane will be closed from Menifee Road to Sultanas Road. The work hours will be 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The project is estimated to be completed in February 2021. Know before you go!
