MEAD VALLEY (CNS) - A fire burned several outbuildings and spread to surrounding vegetation Saturday near Perris before firefighters got a handle on it.The fire was reported at 1:52 p.m. in the 18900 block of Day Street in Mead Valley, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.Several power lines were downed, but firefighters managed to stop the fire's forward progress.No injuries were reported.
