Corridor connecting MoVal, San Jacinto to be closed for two nights

MORENO VALLEY (CNS) - A nine-mile corridor connecting Moreno Valley and San Jacinto will be completely shut down for two nights next week to enable crews to continue adding safety features to the route. On Tuesday, Nov. 5, and Wednesday, Nov. 6, Gilman Springs Road will be closed in both directions between the Moreno Valley (60) Freeway and state Route 79, according to the Riverside County Department of Transportation. The closures will begin at 8 p.m. both nights and conclude at 5 a.m. each morning. Transportation officials recommended that motorists use the Ramona Expressway and Highway 79 as alternate routes.
