Sherry Williams, Old Town Temecula Community Theater’s favorite local songstress, will perform a collection of swinging songs from the Great American Songbook and orchestrations by some of the finest arrangers like John Rodby and Keith Droste in a matinee performance on Sunday, Nov. 3. As always, she will be backed by the Big Band All Stars in the afternoon concert. Some of the songs Williams pointed to as favorites include “Fly Me to the Moon,” “In A Sentimental Mood,” “What a Difference a Day Made,” “Exactly Like You,” “Blame It On My Youth,” “I've Got the World on a String,” and “Whisper Not.”“I like to mix jazz standards with traditional pop standards,” Williams said. “I actually asked for requests.”Having worked with Jeff Stover
