De Portola Wine Trail’s Harvest Fest leads fun week in wine country

The fall season is one of the best times to visit Temecula Wine Country, and this weekend, wine lovers are encouraged to take the road less traveled to enjoy the De Portola Wine Trail Harvest Fest from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3. Located on the southwestern side of wine country, the pace is a little slower and drivers are even likely to be required to give way to a horse or two meandering down a path. Ten wineries will participate, each pouring three varietals with cuisine prepared by their artisan chefs.
