Investigators search for perpetrators of suspected arson fires at Corona apartment complex

CORONA (CNS) - Arson investigators in Corona are seeking information – and the identities of potential suspects – about two intentionally set fires in parking spaces attached to an apartment complex, hoping the public can help generate leads in the case.Both fires occurred last month in the Penrose Apartment Community at River Road and North Cota Street, according to the Corona Fire Department.Officials said that the first blaze was ignited about 11:45 p.m. Oct. 23 in a carport, causing major damage to four vehicles before crews knocked down the conflagration.According to the fire department, the second blaze was set about 1 a.m. Oct. 25 in another carport, destroying a car before the flames were extinguished.No one was injured, and neither fire reached nearby living qu
